2018 Caucus on February 5th
The 2018 Iowa Caucuses will take place on February 5th at 7pm (registration at6:30pm). Please see below for precinct locations and other pertinent dates leading up to the 2018 elections. Monday, February 5, 2018 Precinct Caucuses @ 7pm (registration begins at 6:30pm) Precincts are divided into two locations - Washington Public Library and Kalona Public Library. YOU MUST BE IN-LINE TO REGISTER OR ALREADY REGISTERED BY 7PM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE. Youth observers are also welcome to attend but must be at least 13 years old. Ainsworth - Washington Public Library Brighton/Marian/Crawford - Washington Public Library Washington Ward 1 - Washington Public Library Washington Ward 2 - Washington Public Library Washington Ward 3 - Washington Public Library Washington Ward 4 - Washington Public Library West Chester - Washington Public Library Kalona - Kalona Public Library Wellman - Kalona Public Library Riverside - Kalona Public Library Platform Resolutions: The 2018 form for submitting resolutions to the Platform committee can be downloaded & completed, in advance, from the IDP website. Completed forms should be returned at the caucus or via email to washiadems@gmail.com by February 5th. Blank forms will also be provided at the precinct locations for onsite completion. All resolutions must be voted on at the caucus, even if it's just to "collectively pass all submitted resolutions to the Platform committee for review", so late submissions cannot be accepted. Saturday, March 24, 2018 Washington County Convention (Time determined by the Washington County central committee at the Feb 13th meeting)
Saturday, April 28, 2018 2nd District Convention (Time determined by the 2nd district central committee)
Tuesday, June 5, 2018 Primary Election
Saturday, June 16, 2018 State Convention, Des Moines IA
